Page a day update...

Very very quick post about the page a day challenge...

I haven't written for about two days (wince- so sorry swimmer!) BUT I have just finished a couple of hours of writing and clocked up almost 2000 words! Not bad!

Looking forward to a very delicious sleep and then a delightful Saturday of coffee and WRITING!

Hopefully I'll check back in tomorrow.

What am I saying "Hopefully", of COURSE I'll be back! :)

  1. Don't wince because I have to drop out of the challenge due to the fact that next week I have exams and event hough I have been writing over a page a day during exams I know I will not be able to!

  2. I SO wish I was writing a page a day! I'm editing now and that is consuming all of my good time. Nice to know you!

  3. @swimmer: oh no! well at least you have a legitimate reason for not writing! maybe you can just put the writing "on hold" for as many days as you need, that way you can still complete the wonderful challege you set for yourself? good luck in your exams!

@t.anne: i know what you mean! but at least in editing you come across some really good stuff (like 'wow, i wrote that?') and you can cut all the shameful stuff (one of my favourite parts) lol.

  4. a page a day sounds more feasible than 1000 words

  5. it's a lot less pressure too. sometimes i'll write a couple of hundred words and that will be my page, other times i get really into it which is always a nice surprise

  6. The thing that I love about the Page a Day Challenge is that a page never does seem that much. And if you're having a really bad day you can double space your work and make it seem longer.
But if you think about it, as long as you are writing details, dialogue, or descriptions you're going to fill a page no problem.
Congrats on the 13,000+ words, that's AMAZING!
